Technical Barriers to Trade

According to Article 10 of the Agreement on Technical Barriers to Trade of the World Trade Organization (WTO), to which all countries are attached, each member will ensure the existence of a service that can respond to all reasonable requests for information formulated by other members or their interested parties, in order to provide documents concerning: The technical regulations and standards that have been adopted or projected to adopt, within their territory, the central government, regional, or non-governmental institutions legally authorized to do apply a technical regulation. The procedures of evaluation of the existing conformity, or in project, that are applied within their territory by the institutions of the central government, regional, or non-governmental legally authorized to make apply a technical regulation. The places where the notices published in accordance with this agreement are found, or the indication of where such information may be obtained.
